One Premier League team has reached out to Manchester United in an effort to acquire Mason Greenwood.
As the season comes to a close, the Red Devils will be making a lot of changes to their roster, including the departure of several key players.
A report claims that all but three players on Manchester United’s roster are out for grabs.
These three young Red Devils have been outstanding all season: Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, and Rasmus Hojlund.
Once Mason Greenwood’s loan at Getafe concludes at the conclusion of the season in La Liga, he is set to return to Manchester.
It was at Getafe that the Englishman recovered his self-assurance and goal-scoring prowess.
In Spain’s top league this season, he’s racked up eight goals and six assists.
Man Utd does not intend to include Greenwood in their future plans for reasons unrelated to the field.
According to TeamTalk, Greenwood has apparently received interest from a “unnamed Premier League side” over a possible transfer.
Many European clubs, including Barcelona and Juventus, were thinking about signing the 22-year-old before the summer transfer season.
It would seem that a club from the Premier League has joined the race to sign him.
There will be a thorough investigation of both the transfer and this endeavour.
Therefore, it is likely that Greenwood will have to constantly reestablishing his career in other places.
The pursuit of the multi-talented forward now seems to be underway, with Juventus taking the lead.
When it comes to money, Greenwood can assist Man United.
No matter what happens to the Manchester United academy graduate, the club will want a hefty transfer fee.
Gazzetta recently reported that Cristiano Giuntoli, Juventus’ sports director, had singled out Greenwood as his primary attacking target.
The Premier League’s PSR regulations have put the league’s best teams in a precarious financial position; as a result, they may have to sell key players to free up capital for transfers.
If this plays out, Greenwood may be a great asset to Manchester United.
