£50M United star wants experience in another league as Euro giants already made move with agents

The Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Inter Milan has chosen Aaron Wan-Bissaka, a right back for Manchester United, to replace Denzel Dumfries this summer.

Over the past few months, the Nerazzurri and Dumfries have not been able to come to a new deal. Dumfries could be sold for €30 million (£26 million), and Aston Villa is interested in buying him.

In this situation, the big teams at San Siro have marked Wan-Bissaka as a possible alternative. After seven years in the Premier League, the 27-year-old wants to try something new.

Gazzetta dello Sport (page 13) says that Piero Ausilio, Inter’s sports director, has “already” talked to Wan-Bissaka’s representatives. Last year, he talked to them.

The Nerazzurri bought Tajon Buchanan from Club Brugge in January as a right back, but boss Simone Inzaghi sees him as Federico Dimarco’s backup on the left side.

We could see Wan-Bissaka leave for Inter this summer.

The 26-year-old has had a good and bad season with Manchester United. He got hurt a lot at the beginning of the season, and Diogo Dalot quickly became the starting right back.

Because Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, and Victor Lindelof have been hurt over the last few weeks, Wan-Bissaka has mostly played left back. He hasn’t always been good at his job.

The English player had a bad game against Brentford because he kept getting sucked in by other players. Last weekend, he gave up an expensive penalty against Liverpool, which led to a 2-2 draw.

The deal Wan-Bissaka has now ends in June of next year. At this point, United hasn’t made any work on a new deal, and they might be moving towards selling.

A goal for the club is to sign Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen. They will be trying to get some of the £34m fee back by selling their £50m signing.

Wan-Bissaka could become an important player for the Nerazzurri in the longer term. Matteo Darmian, who is 34 years old now, is Inzaghi’s first choice right wing-back.
