Manchester United in Agreement to sign €40 million Bundesliga star about to win league

It is said that Manchester United is in talks with Bayer Leverkusen to sign Jeremie Frimpong. This is because Aaron Wan-Bissaka is set to leave.

The Red Devils are currently in seventh place in the Premier League table after a poor draw against Bournemouth on Saturday night. They could be having their worst season ever in the English top flight.

It doesn’t matter if Erik ten Hag stays with the club after this season is over; Manchester United will be busy with transfers this summer.

Christian Falk, writing for Caught Offside, says that United has already had “concrete talks” with Frimpong, a Dutch defender.

Over the past few seasons, the 23-year-old has become one of the best players in his position. This has caught the attention of several top European clubs, including Bayern Munich.

The story says that Frimpong’s deal doesn’t end until 2028, but he has an option that lets him leave for €40 million earlier.

Ten Hag likes Dutch players, as shown by his signings of Lisandro Martinez and Anthony. This makes the reports about the attacking right back even stronger.

There is a chance that the Dutch boss would have to sell either Wan-Bissaka or Diogo Dalot if he got to Old Trafford.

One of the biggest complaints about United over the last few years is that they don’t have enough driving full-backs. The player from Crystal Palace is mostly a defensive midfielder.

They don’t have enough players on the right wing, so Frimpong’s scoring skills could make the whole team better.
