For Gleison Bremer, Juventus wants to trade Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho, a winger.
Gleison Bremer, a center-back for Juventus, is very desirable to Manchester United, but convincing him to leave the Italian powerhouses will not be simple.
According to reports, Max Allegri’s team values the Brazilian defender at around £51 million. The Red Devils may be able to lower that price by offering players in return.
As TEAMtalk has revealed, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is thinking of providing Mason Greenwood—who is probably going to leave Manchester United at the conclusion of the season—in exchange for Bremer.
There have been rumours that Juventus would consider a trade like this since Greenwood has been closely associated with them lately.
But according to CalcioMercato, Juventus has retaliated by requesting Alejandro Garnacho, another Manchester United player.
With 43 games across all competitions, nine goals, and four assists, the Argentine international has been one of Erik ten Hag’s team’s most impressive players this season.
Garnacho is requested by Juventus in the Man Utd trade.
Although the article did not definitively respond to Juventus’ audacious proposal, it is safe to assume that Ratcliffe will not be trading Garnacho for Bremer since Man Utd values him so highly.
Per the Ineos CEO, the goal for the Red Devils is to make Old Trafford the ideal location for developing young players, therefore it would be illogical to let the 19-year-old winger depart.
According to a January report, Man Utd valued Garnacho at over £80 million, which is far greater than Bremer’s £51 million asking price.
In order to sign Bremer this summer, Man Utd would probably need to meet Juventus’ pricing demands, as a swap deal currently seems to be impracticable.
With 31 Serie A games so far this season, the defender has been playing well for his team, contributing to 15 clean sheets.
Ratcliffe could need to bring in more than one new center-back since the futures of Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, and Jonny Evans at Old Trafford are all questionable.
Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite, who is expected to fetch a price tag of more than £70 million, is another player that Manchester United is quite interested in, as exclusively disclosed by TEAMtalk.
In light of this, Manchester United may wind up spending over £120 million in the next transfer window on defensive additions.
