United is in the middle of a “complex” deal to sign Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise. This is according to Man United News and Transfer News, which is written by The Peoples Person.
According to reports, Manchester United will have to get past a big problem that could mean they have to pay more money to sign Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise.
People think that Olise is a top target for United, who plan to add to their striking team during the summer transfer window.
More good players are needed for United, especially on the right wing. Antony’s lack of performance has been a huge letdown, and it looks like his time at Old Trafford is coming to an end.
When his team played Sheffield United and won 4–2, the Brazilian was once again not very good.
The verdict is in: “Chaotic” Manchester United win.
When you add Antony’s poor play to the fact that United want to get rid of Jadon Sancho forever because of his bad relationship with Erik ten Hag and his loan at Borussia Dortmund, it makes sense that they are considering a move for Olise.
According to an earlier story from The Peoples Person, both the Manchester United research department and INEOS think that Olise is the right type of player to add to the team at Old Trafford.
Even though injuries have ruined his season, the Frenchman has still put up very good stats. In 15 Premier League games so far this season, he has scored seven goals and set up four others.
He has formed a strong relationship with Eberechi Eze, and Palace look like a more dangerous team when the two of them are on the pitch together. They’ve only played six Premier League games together, but they’ve scored or helped set up 13 of the London team’s 14 goals during that time.
BBC says that the Eagles will only go along with deals that start at £60 million or more for Olise and Eze.
There are release terms in both of their contracts, but the newspaper says they’re not the usual kind that fans are used to seeing.
People know that it might be a little hard to get a deal done for Olise because he owes money to his current boss, his old team (Reading), and even the forward himself.
In a report from BBC, Palace says that interested teams should be ready to pay £60 million per player in order to start talks. This season, both Olise and Eze signed long-term deals, which gives Palace a lot of power in negotiations.
“Neither contract has a simple release clause, and any deal will be complicated by the players’ former teams, the players themselves, and Crystal Palace’s rules about percentages.”
The news source also says, “The players are happy at Palace and want to make sure that any possible move is one that will benefit them. They are especially interested in choosing a team that will let them show off their skill with the ball and their attacking flair.”
It’s clear why United want to sign Olise. It’s very rare for a 22-year-old to score or set up a goal in the Premier League.
He’s also in the 93rd and 94th percentiles for shots on goal and shots taken. The Palace star is dangerous on goal and would bring this to United.
Olise has made 26 important passes and 79 crosses so far this season. Based on these measures, he is in the 96th and 98th percentiles.
Even though any move for Olise is likely to be difficult, United shouldn’t give up on their goal of making Olise the latest player to wear the famous red and white stripes.
