Because of years of bad hiring decisions, Manchester United’s new co-owners INEOS are having a hard time with PSR issues.
For that reason, Sir Jim Ratcliffe wants to get rid of a lot of people this summer in order to save money on wages and get enough money to fix things up.
One of the well-known people on that list is Jadon Sancho. As long as Erik ten Hag is manager, there isn’t much chance that he will go back to Old Trafford.
The English player and the former Ajax coach had a big fight after the Dutch coach criticised the English player for poor performance in training before the Arsenal game earlier this season.
The forward did not like what the manager said, so he went on social media and said that the manager was using the player as a to blame someone else.
The England player’s camp also made it sound like Ten Hag treats Antony better than other players. After that, the 24-year-old refused to say sorry, so he was kicked off the first team.
The player came up through the ranks at Manchester City and was sent on loan to Borussia Dortmund in January. He is now starting to show signs of life there.
He has played 14 times for the German giants, scoring twice and setting up three others. BVB recently shocked Atletico Madrid by beating them 4–0 to make it to the Champions League semifinals.
The Manchester Evening News says that United made more money from Sancho’s loan deal because it had a payment option if they made it to the Champions League final.
“This week, Borussia Dortmund’s run to the Champions League semifinals led to another payment as part of Jadon Sancho’s loan deal, which was good for Manchester United’s financial fair play.

“Dortmund paid €3.5 million up front to borrow Sancho in January, and they could pay another €4 million in add-ons.” Unbelievable as it may seem, United made it to the semi-finals of the Champions League and now they’ve been given a “significant” bonus.
It’s important to save every bit, and this will definitely help. If Dortmund makes it to the final, the Red Devils might get even more money.
As for the player’s future, United still wants to get a good amount of money when they sell the forward in the summer.
But for now, Dortmund wants a discount and hopes that Sancho’s strong desire to leave Old Trafford will work out in their good.
But if INEOS fires Ten Hag and welcomes Jason Wilcox, who used to be in charge of City’s youth teams, Sancho might be back in Manchester again.
