Kobbie Mainoo reveals his ideal midfield partner: Manchester United legend

Kobbie Mainoo, a young player for Manchester United, has proclaimed Paul Scholes to be his ideal midfield partner.
Mainoo would be thrilled to play with a player of Paul Scholes’ calibre, as anybody lucky enough to have seen the Ginger Prince perform knows. He had exceptional passing skills and could read the game faster than everyone else.
In contrast, Mainoo has had an incredible breakout year so far, and his climb this season has been nothing short of phenomenal. On Saturday, he scored Old Trafford’s first senior goal against Liverpool.
A new United academy product who has broken into the starting lineup has spoken about his desire to have played alongside Scholes, a legend at the club.
In an interview with club media, Mainoo reportedly stated: “I’d say Paul Scholes” (via ManUtd.com). Despite the fact that our relationship may not involve much defending! Oh, Scholes, I see.
