Manchester United receive significant Financial Fair Play Windfall after shock deal outcome

Borussia Dortmund is in the semi-finals of the Champions League, and man United has made more money because of Jadon Sancho’s play.

This week, Borussia Dortmund’s run to the Champions League semifinals led to another payment as part of Jadon Sancho’s loan deal. This was good for Manchester United’s financial fair play situation.

Dortmund paid €3.5 million up front to borrow Sancho in January, and they could get another €4 million in add-ons.

One United source said that since then, a “significant” bonus has been added for their unusual run to the Champions League semifinals.

He has helped Dortmund get this far in the competition, so they will have to pay him more if they beat Paris St. Germain in the last four. Since Sancho returned to his old team in January, they have beat PSV Eindhoven and Atletico Madrid.

The 24-year-old has started all four games and scored in the second leg against PSV. He also played all but four minutes of the two legs against Atletico Madrid as he continues to get back to his old self after having a rough time at Old Trafford.

He wins his second Masters in three years, making him the world’s number one golfer.
United has now paid most of Sancho’s pay for the second half of the season.

They will be paid in full if all of their bonuses are earned, thanks to a deal made by Matt Hargreaves, the club’s head of football talks.

United is also doing better at following the Premier League’s strict Profit and Sustainability Rules and the rules for financial fair play with each bonus they get as part of the deal.

Sancho’s loan deal with Dortmund ends on June 30, and he is still likely to be sold this summer. Dortmund can’t make the move official, though, so United still have all of their choices.
