Ben Foster has said that if he were Erik ten Hag during the Bournemouth game, he would have taken off one Manchester United star right away.
Last Saturday, Manchester United went to the Vitality Stadium and stole a Premier League point. This was because Bournemouth was tied 2-2 there.
The Red Devils were down early in the game when United teenager Willy Kambwala made a mistake and Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke scored.
Dominic Solanke scored the first goal, but Bruno Fernandes equalised it before Bournemouth took the lead again before halftime.
Willy Kambwala, a defender for the Red Devils, had a tough first half at the Vitality Stadium, going up against Justin Kluivert one-on-one.
The Dutch winger, 24, wasn’t picked up by Diogo Dalot. Justin Kluivert then passed the ball to him on the right, and he slammed a low shot into the United goal.
For the second time, Bruno Fernandes saved United. The club leader scored a penalty kick in the second half to tie the game.
United is currently in seventh place in the Premier League table, having only won one of their last five league games. They are 13 points behind the top four teams.
Foster makes fun of the Manchester United star’s play
After a string of bad results, Manchester United is almost certain to finish outside of the top four teams in the Premier League.
Last week, United boss Erik ten Hag focused on the league. This week, he will focus on getting his team ready for their important FA Cup semi-final match against Coventry City.
After not helping Willy Kambwala against Justin Kluivert, Ben Foster has now been very blunt with Casemiro and called him out for it.
While playing for United, the custodian said Casemiro should be the “engine” and “disruptor” in the match against Bournemouth.
Foster, on the other hand, has said that if he had been Ten Hag, he would have pulled off the 32-year-old former Real Madrid star.
He said on his YouTube account, “Casemiro scored the second goal. He’s a holding midfielder.”
“He should be that engine, that rat in the middle, the disruptor—someone who stops all the attacks and gets in the way of them.”
“I think the second goal is a complete shame.” It is a complete shame. Those areas are open for him to go into and take his shot.
“Just as I think, ‘Do you know what?’ Casemiro almost notices at the last second, walks in, and hangs a leg in there. I would say that was good enough if I were the boss of a team whose central player did that right then. “You, take it off.”
Foster about what he would do about Casemiro
Casemiro played the whole 90 minutes against Bournemouth, which made United fans very angry because they thought he didn’t do a good job.
The star player for United hasn’t been himself lately, and Casemiro hasn’t had as much of an impact at Old Trafford this season.
Casemiro has had a hard time keeping up with the speed of games and hasn’t had as much of an effect as he did in his first season at United.
Foster, who played at Old Trafford with Sir Alex Ferguson, claimed that he would blast the Brazil captain for how he played at the Vitality Stadium.
“And I’d also make sure to show this during the week,” he said.
“We’d have a meeting on Monday of next week, and I’d show this to everyone and tell them, ‘You see that? That’s a damn shame.'”
“He was taken off because you get in front of that player, stop the play, and block it. You break them in the neck and the gut.”
“You just let him walk in, take a shot, and score a goal.” As easy as that.”
